Stop Haringey Development Vehicle Protest, Tottenham to Finsbury Park London 23rd September 2017
Haringey Council are driving through a £2billion sell-off of public assets including housing estates, schools, public facilities and private housing acquired through compulsory purchase orders.
Haringey Council are pushing ahead with the scheme in partnership with multi-national property developer Lend Lease despite massive local opposition including a large number of Councillors and now local MPs David Lammy and Catherine West have called for a review.
Hundreds of people took to the streets of Haringey today marching from Tottenham Green to Finsbury Park. The protest was joined by representatives from housing campaigns acorss London.
