‘Labour as a Government in Waiting’ Labour Party Conference 2017

Len McCluskey, General Secretary of Unite the Union giving a speech at The World Transformed #TWT2017, Labour Party Conference in Brighton 25th September 2017, on a panel with Paul Mason, John McDonnell and Ewa Jasiewicz. McClusky talks about how both the public and business see Labour as a government in waiting. He says that Labour is the only party that speaks for the whole nation – both the 52% and the 48%. It is important to invest in our community he says, build better public services and achieve sustainable growth.
